“Let us love not in words or tongue but with actions and truth.” - 1 John 3:18
At Calvary Christian School we believe that we are called to teach our students the meaning of love in action, as demonstrated by Jesus through His example of selflessness and service. Families at Calvary have been blessed with tremendous resources and students are encouraged to personally sacrifice by giving of themselves to help change the world and show God’s incredible love.
Through our comprehensive Community Service Program each student in Transitional Kindergarten through eighth grade is involved in touching the lives of others in a personal and meaningful way. Calvary has developed relationships with several service ministries that need prayer, support, and resources. These partner organizations touch the lives of our soldiers serving overseas, those living in poverty, the homeless in Los Angeles, the elderly in our community and orphans in Mexico. During their years at Calvary Christian School our students have the opportunity to serve in many capacities and to develop hearts of compassion that enable them to become leaders of tomorrow committed to serving others.
