Applying to Calvary Christian School

List of 8 items.

  • Step 1: Complete the Online Inquiry Form & Obtain Login Credentials

Please note: If you have already completed the inquiry form at any time and are receiving communication from us, then you are in our database. You do not need to fill out the form again.

Future Applicants: Please fill out an inquiry form so we can be aware of your interest in Calvary Christian School - and to receive important communications from the Admission Office.

Obtaining Login Credentials:  After you submit your inquiry form, you will receive an email with instructions regarding how to obtain your login credentials. Be sure to check your spam or junk folders so that you don't miss this and other important emails!

Inquiries will be processed within 24-48 hours.
  • Step 2: Visit Calvary Campus for a Tour or Open House

We believe that the best way to experience our school is to come and see it for yourself. We will host two Open Houses this Fall. Additionally, we invite you to schedule a personal tour to gain deeper insight into the wonderful programs and people that make up Calvary Christian School. Learn more about our curriculum and meet our administrative team as well as current Calvary parents, and enjoy a full tour of our beautiful campus.

Once you've submitted an Inquiry Form, you will have access to schedule a personal campus tour or register for an Open House event (which includes a campus tour). We encourage families to begin the process with this touch point so that we can begin building our relationship with one another.

The fall open house dates for admission to the 2026/27 school year are scheduled for Tuesday, October 14th from 9-11am and Tuesday, November 4th from 9-11am.

Please note that our admission events are typically geared toward prospective parents. Student candidates will have the opportunity to visit the campus later in the admissions process for their assessment or campus visit.
  • Step 3: Complete the Online Application

After you have submitted an online Inquiry Form as instructed above, click on "MyCCS" at the top right-hand corner of our website to access your child's portal.

As mentioned, after we process your submitted inquiry form you will receive an automated email from Blackbaud with an invitation to create your login credentials. Look in your spam folders for that email, and remember to use the email address you used when you registered!

Once you log into the MyCCS portal, you should see your child's checklist under the Admission Progress tab. If you do not see it, click on the child's name in the top left corner of your screen. Under the Checklist you will see the application. Click Start and you can begin to complete the online application!

For help completing your online application or if you have questions regarding your login credentials, please contact Priscilla Angelich at pangelich@calvarychristian.org.

The deadline to submit your application is Friday, December 12th, 2025.
  • Step 4: Request Recommendations & Transcripts

Once you have submitted your child's application, please request the necessary supplemental materials from your child's admission checklist. Please note that requirements vary by grade so please complete the requests for each applying child.

    All Recommendation Forms
for 2026-27 will be available in your MyCCS portal under your checklist.  You will submit requests directly to your recommenders via email through the checklist in your MyCCS portal. Your requested recommenders will be able to submit their recommendation forms directly to us once completed. You will need the recommender's name and email address to complete these requests.

The Administrator Recommendation form should be completed by your child's current Head of School/Principal or Preschool Director. The Teacher Recommendation forms should be sent to your child's current teacher(s).

These forms can be completed after November 1, 2025, but submitted no later than January 9, 2026.

If you attend a school that has a district policy against submitting letters of recommendation, don't worry! Just email us to let us know. If another mentor, coach or tutor can write an email or letter of support on behalf of your child, we welcome their contribution to the process.
  • Step 5: Interview with the Admissions Office

Interviews will be offered from December to February with Mommy and Me and Preschool applicant families interviewing first. Once you have submitted your application(s), you can self-schedule your family's interview in the MyCCS portal. You only need to schedule one interview for your whole family.

You must submit your application before you can schedule an interview. Interviews for the families applying for the 2026-27 school year will be held on campus.
  • Step 6: Submit First Semester Report Cards

In addition to submitting two years worth of report cards as part of the application, please prepare to provide grades from the current term as soon as they are available and ideally before January 9th, 2026. These records can be uploaded into the system or emailed to pangelich@calvarychristian.org.
  • Step 7: Schedule Your Student Assessment or Visit

Once your application is complete, please self-select a date and time for your child to come for either their assessment or campus visit (depending on their grade) within your MyCCS admission check list. Please make sure to schedule a visit for each child within their grade level check list.

Preschool 3/4 applicants will come for a playdate with teachers and other children. TK/K applicants will complete an a readiness assessment accomplished through a rotation of teacher-led learning games. 1st-4th grade applicants will complete an academic assessment with our school psychologist. 5th graders will have a conversation with our school psychologist and 6th to 8th graders will meet the Head of Middle School for a brief tour and conversation.

Each of these touch points are meant to provide deeper insight into the preparedness and personality of your children. Our staff members or loving and kind and will make this a positive experience for the children.
  • Step 8: 5th-8th Graders Complete the ISEE Exam

5th to 8th grade students applying to join us at Calvary are kindly asked to complete the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam). While we want students to do their best, the admissions committee will consider their test scores along with their grades, recommendations, and other standardized scores that we receive.

While normal preparation is suggested (like becoming familiar with the format and types of questions) students do not need to complete test prep courses or study extensively before completing the at-home exam. You can learn more about how to register for the ISEE At Home here (coming soon). Please make sure all test scores are made available to Calvary by January 9th, 2026.
We are excited about your interest in Calvary Christian School and look forward to connecting with your family through this process.
